This is a beautiful vintage mens red silk featuring a printed paisley pattern in beige and grey.  The scarf has an ornate border at either end. The scarf is doubled so that the pattern is the same front to back.  Note that the scarf was folded in the first photo - the actual width appears in the second photo

Age: 1940s / 1950s

Label:  Simpson’s Made in England.  Simpson’s was a popular Canadian department store chain founded in 1858 and acquired by the Hudson’s Bay Company in 1978.  The style of the Simpson’s logo that appears on the label dates prior to 1957.

Size: 12” wide by 52” long,

Condition:  It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, staining or odour.  It will require a pressing.

This is a lovely quality scarf in a very classy paisley pattern - sure to be noticed!
